Hate it! ...I love to eat food, but I hate cooking. Hate it! I like to bake, but cooking a meal? Nope, I just would rather order out. Isn't that an awful trait for a mother of such a large family to have? But it's true. Thank goodness my husband enjoys cooking. I think we'd al starve, if not.

I need to lose about 30 pounds. I have no idea how to start. I am 41 years old and have birthed 8 babies...and up until I hit my 40's, weight has never been an issue for me. I could eat pretty much whatever I wanted and I did not gain weight. My baby weight came off within that first year, and I was good to go. But now? I never did lose the baby weight from my last pregnancy. My weight is up to what it was when I delivered my first child. I really can't believe it. Because I am tall -- 5'9" -- the weight doesn't show as much, but I know it's there. I can feel it, and I can see it. But it's easy to hide with certain clothing.

Anyway...I just don't know where to start. Exercise, for one. What I need to do is just start something...and STICK with it. I've never been one to routinely exercise...so it will be a stretch for me to actually do this.Katrinahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04446770591516588794noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731438978459983851.post-47829468073454088202011-03-23T13:09:01.452-04:002011-03-23T13:09:01.452-04:00wish I had an easy answer, but maybe research heal...wish I had an easy answer, but maybe research healthy baking options, and put your passion into transforming your favorite recipes... Or start giving away your not so healthy baking right away! lol... I love baking too, and have to keep myself out of the kitchen.
Good luck!Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6731438978459983851.post-82761357617797352392011-03-23T13:01:04.362-04:002011-03-23T13:01:04.362-04:00There is nothing wrong with loving to cook. Keep cooking, but why not take your fave. recipes and modify them to be healthier? I know you cook pretty healthy already but strive to make everything healthier that you make. A little bit of trial and error and you will have your own cook book of great, tastey, and healthy foods.Ashley Jonesnoreply@blogger.com
